Learn how to find the right URL link for customers to access their galleries. Captura offers different link types depending on whether you want to send a customer to a specific subject, a specific job, or your studio’s available galleries.

Choosing the right link helps give customers a more direct path to their photos.
Captura provides three customer-facing link types:
Subject Link
Job Link
Studio Link
Each works a little differently, so the right choice depends on where you want your customer to start.

🚨 Before You Begin
The job must be set to ACTIVE before you can retrieve a Subject Link or Job Link.
💡 PRO TIP: Choose your link based on how directly you want to send customers to their photos. If you’re sending a link to a specific subject, the Subject Link removes the extra step of entering a unique online code on entry.
How to get the right kind of link
There are different types of links you can use for different scenarios:
Link Type | Additional Info |
Subject Link
| Specific to the subject in a job; Does not require entering the unique online code on entry. |
Job Link
| Specific to the job; Requires entering their unique online code for subject-based jobs. |
Studio Link**
| Default: Users can view all active jobs not configured hidden. Requires entering their unique online code for subject-based jobs. Typically, this link is used to redirect users from your studio website to your galleries. **You can force users to enter a unique keyword/code when using this link**
