Enhance Extraction Profile Differences

When applying extraction to a job, or creating a profile with our extraction tool there are a few options to choose from! Learn about the differences and best use cases below;

• Extraction ONLY PSD (no spill)- no spill removal applied, output file is in PSD

• Extraction (no spill)- manages standard photos shot on solid backgrounds. Does not address ghosting around the head

  • PNG output

• Extraction w/ spill removal- manages photos shot both on green backgrounds and any other background to address green color spill onto subjects. Specific fix for “ghosting” around the head of subjects

  • PNG output

• Extraction w/ Turbo Spill- for images with severe color spill. Not intended to be used as a default as there are side effects that can occur when used across a large job.

  • PNG output

There is no difference in cost for the three extraction options, just different use cases!

Credits are debited when they queue a job. (which is the state after pending)

If a job is in pending state, the credits have not been used.
