Clear Local Job Storage (without losing your settings)
If you’re running into problems like jobs failing to export, getting stuck, or behaving strangely, it might help to clear your local job storage. This will reset your local copy of jobs to match the current production version — without touching your saved app preferences, filters, or login.
What this does
When you clear local job storage, your local job cache (galleries, subjects, pending orders, etc.) is deleted.
This can free up memory and help resolve certain workflow issues.
✅ Keeps your local app preferences (capture/printing, settings subject/image filters)
✅ Keeps your login — you won’t be logged out
❌ Removes any un-synced job changes:
❌ Removes open galleries from your Jobs tab
When to use it
Use “Clear Local Job Storage” if:
You notice exports failing or getting stuck
You want to refresh jobs from the latest server copy.
You need to reduce local memory usage
You’ve tried other fixes and still see odd job behavior
How to clear local job storage
Go to the jobs list in your app.
Open the tools menu (top right of the jobs page).
Click Clear Local Job Storage.
In the confirmation popup, read the warning carefully:
“Reverting all jobs to current production copy.
You are about to revert all jobs to the current production copy and you will lose any un-synced changes. Are you sure?”Select YES! CLEAR LOCAL JOB STORAGE.
What happens after
All job data in your local cache is replaced with the server’s current copy.
Your preferences, filters, and login remain exactly as they were.
Any changes you hadn’t synced to the server will be lost.
🔍 Tips
If you clear your local job storage often, consider syncing your changes more frequently to avoid losing work.
Use this tool instead of the general cache clear option if you want to keep your custom settings.
